According to Japanese tradition, origami cranes are symbolic of good luck or longevity.
After spending the last 2.5 years in and out of the hospital and doctors offices, I had an idea for spreading good will and cheer – with origami graffiti. Little anonymous (or not) gifts for others.
The idea is to leave origami in places where people will find and enjoy them. Ideally, as a happy surprise during an otherwise stressful time – or just because 🙂
Whether you’re an origami pro or beginner, it’s easy to get started (see the links on the sidebar), and even easier to share your work. Great places to place your origami graffiti include – waiting rooms, offices, school, etc.
Remember to use the hashtag #origamigraffiti when you share your projects on social media; and, please be sure to respect other peoples’ wishes and property.
